How does the outlook on energy resources affect environmental issues and how they are handled?
Through my research, I have concluded that despite the environmental defects that this source of energy causes, people cannot see past something that sparked life for us. And although it might be stubborn and ignorant, people fail to change. I previously believed that it takes a serious event to force change, but even with epochs like the B.P. oil spill and Exxon Valdez we see little change.
The outlook on energy resources doesn't affect environment issues and how they are handled for long periods of time. People are poorly informed by bias medias and cannot handle the degree of seriousness, so they discard what they know. They tend to not care because it is not during their life time so why change? Leaving us stuck with insufficient progression.
I hope this project does not make you look upon humanity in too negative a light (some negativity is okay :)
ReplyDeleteHopefully the knowledge that you gathered from this project will help you make better future decisions about energy usage.
